Production Workshop:
Yahia Mouzahem oversees the Production Workshop, drawing from his extensive experience in producing various types of films, including feature narratives, short narratives, documentaries, as well as television series and commercials. Over three days, Mouzahem shares insights into the necessary steps to be followed in film production. He has produced and directed the documentary narrative film “Tinhinan” and the television series “Zenka Story,” among other works.

Editing Workshop:
Salim Aktouf, with 15 years of experience in post-production across various audiovisual and cinema projects, including “The Seven Castles” by director Ahmed Rachedi and the first season of the “Achour el acher” series by Djaafer Gasem, leads the Editing Workshop. The workshop covers the basics of video editing, the concept and importance of visual storytelling, as well as the principles of visual narrative language. It also introduces popular video editing software programs.

Sound Workshop:
Hamid Bouziane structures his workshop around teaching sound techniques and various uses of sound in audiovisual projects. Participants receive hands-on recording exercises using different equipment both indoors and outdoors. Bouziane, a sound engineer with extensive experience in cinema and television, has worked on several films, including “Jabal Baya” by Azzedine Meddour and “El Andaloussi” by Mohamed Chouikh.

Screenwriting Workshop:
The Screenwriting Workshop, led by Tahar Boukala, aims to provide a comprehensive overview answering specific questions: What is a screenplay? What is its role in the film production process? How do we transition from literary narration to cinematic language? Taher boukella, a university professor, screenwriter, and trainer, is known for his novel “Mimouna” and the screenplay for the film “El Manara.”

Cinematography Workshop:
Allel Yahiaoui leads the cinematography workshop, introducing the art of cinematography. He discusses the artistic and technical tasks of a cinematographer, explaining the concept of cinematic language and the basics of visual storytelling. He delves into conveying meaning and emotion in scene composition and touches on the fundamentals of light and shadow, explaining how lighting can enhance the mood and atmosphere of a scene.
Alaoui Yahiaoui has an extensive portfolio of works as a cinematographer and director of photography, earning several awards for his contributions. Among the films he has worked on are “Women’s Roundabout” (2005), “White Shadows” (1991), “The Fortress” (1989), “Inspector Tahar’s Holiday” (1973), “Nahla” (1979), and many more.

Short Film Directing in 48 Hours Workshop:
Abdallah Jamal AlKhatib, a Syrian-Palestinian director, offers a highly specialized workshop focused on directing a short film within 48 hours. Participants gain skills in speed and improvisation in directing a short cinematic work. AlKhatib, known for his contributions to human rights, began his directing career with the documentary “Little Palestine – Diaries of a Siege.”

Actors Management Workshop:
Renowned Syrian actor Ayman Zeidan leads a workshop on actors management, drawing from his experience in acting and directing in cinema, theater, and television. Zeidan shares insights with aspiring talents eager to learn from his vast experience in the field. He has appeared in numerous prominent television series and programs, achieving great success in comedy.
