Director’s Biography: Matteo Garrone, born in 1968, initiated his career as a camera assistant. In 1996, his film “Imagination” earned him the Best Short Film award at the Sacher Film Festival. In 2008, “Gomorra” won the Grand Prize at Cannes, securing six European Film Awards. Subsequently, his film “Reality” (2012) received the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes.
