Summary:
In 1943, during the Russian retreat, Company 604 faced desert crossing to escape encirclement.
By nightfall, only six soldiers and one mule survived. Marching through snow at -30°C, the journey through the “White Desert” blurred time, each step a passage to an imaginary refuge.

Alessandro Garilli, born in 1971, is an Italian director and screenwriter.
His work spans from cinematography to experimental video, advertising, and theater. He has received recognition both nationally and internationally, including being selected by the European Film Academy in Paris for the Kodak Award.
