Mohamed Allal was born on January 8, 1983, in Annaba. He is a writer, journalist, and film critic, awarded in 2022 with the Professional Journalist Prize by President Abdelmadjid Teboune for his article on the evolution of Algerian cinema after independence. He holds a postgraduate degree in media from Cairo, a bachelor’s degree in Media Sciences from the University of Annaba, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Algiers. He is a member of the screening committee at the Ministry of Culture, Artistic director of several international film events and member of the jury in numerous festivals around the world.
