Director’s Biography:
Naomi uman, a New York native residing in Mexico City, creates intimate films exploring women’s roles and crafts using 16mm film.
With 20 showcased films globally and grants from institutions like Guggenheim, Fulbright, and Rockefeller, she adds a personal touch, revealing biases and active engagement.
Her latest work, “Three Sparks” (2023), receives financial support from the Mexican Ministry of Culture.
