Summary:
“Grazie Lina” tells the untold personal story of a 20-year friendship between the actor Yari Gugliucci and the late Lina Wertmüller, who passed away on December 9, 2021. Lina Wertmüller was the first woman to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Director in 1977 and won the Oscar for her body of work in 2020. Through anecdotes and previously unpublished archival materials collected over the years, actor Gugliucci reminisces about his time with her.

Director’s Biography:
Yari Gugliucci is an Italian actor born and raised in the city of Salerno. He began his artistic career at a young age and holds degrees in sociology and philosophy. His cinematic breakthrough came in 1996 with the film “Isotta” directed by Maurizio Fiume. In addition to his acting career, Gugliucci has authored three books, with the latest being “The Guide to Emotional Acting”.
